The local area network (LAN or ethernet) of an audio system carries audio information which is accompanied by background noise or pollution which can impair sound quality. This pollution can be explained in part by the fact that ethernet networks are generally not grounded.
This cable reduces noise carried by a local area network by connecting it to ground. The RJ45 connector is plugged into a LAN/ethernet/RJ45 socket on the internet box/router and the mains plug inserted into a mains socket which is connected to ground.
The cable is composed of triple shielded multistrand copper wire of 5mm diameter which connects the RJ45 connector made of zinc alloy to the earth pin of the mains plug.
Each internet box cable is handcrafted near Clermont Ferrand in the Auvergne region of France prior to electrical tests.
After plugging in the cable, 3 or 4 days are sometimes required before an improvement in sound quality occurs.
